Information we collect

KinJo collects the information you and your kindergarten provide to operate the enrollment, attendance, and reporting service: account details, child enrollment information, daily attendance and activity records, and messages exchanged on the platform.

If you use the KinJo mobile app, we also collect a device push-notification token (so the app can notify you about new reports, messages, and absence-request decisions) and, if a crash occurs, diagnostic crash reports (device model, OS version, and the error itself) to help us fix it. Neither is shared with third parties beyond the infrastructure providers (Firebase Cloud Messaging and Firebase Crashlytics), which deliver notifications and process crash reports on our behalf.

Regulatory & Legal Framework in Jordan

The Jordanian Personal Data Protection Law No. 24 of 2023 and the Child Rights Law No. 17 of 2022 form part of the legal framework relevant to the platform. The access controls described below help protect children’s and families’ records. This notice describes platform practices and is not a certification of legal compliance.

How we use it

Information is used solely to provide the kindergarten management service to the kindergarten, its staff, and the parents of enrolled children. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

Data retention & security

Data is stored on access-controlled systems with role-based permissions, audit logging, and hashed password storage. Access is limited to the roles that need it to perform their duties (parent, kindergarten manager/supervisor, or system administrator). For information about retention applicable to your records, contact the platform through the Contact Us page.

Your statutory rights
